📌 एक लाइन में: हम सिर्फ़ वही डेटा लेते हैं जो शिकायत के लिए ज़रूरी है (फोटो + लोकेशन), नाम-मोबाइल देना आपकी मर्ज़ी है, आपकी पहचान (citizen ID) फ़ोन नंबर से कभी नहीं जुड़ती, हम कुछ भी बेचते नहीं, और कोई विज्ञापन नहीं है।
In one line: we collect only what the complaint needs (photo + location), name/phone are optional, your citizen ID is never linked to a phone number, we sell nothing, and there are no ads.

1. हम कौन हैं / Who we are

सफाई साथी (safaisathi.pages.dev) भारत भर के लिए एक स्वतंत्र, ग़ैर-व्यावसायिक नागरिक पहल है — बलिया, उत्तर प्रदेश से शुरू हुई। यह कोई सरकारी ऐप नहीं है और किसी मंत्रालय/नगर पालिका/स्वच्छ भारत मिशन से आधिकारिक रूप से नहीं जुड़ा।

SafaiSathi is an independent, non-commercial citizen initiative for all of India, started in Ballia, UP. It is not a government app and has no official affiliation with any ministry, municipality, or the Swachh Bharat Mission.

2. फोटो सार्वजनिक हैं — कृपया ध्यान दें / Photos are public — please note

⚠️ रिपोर्ट और सत्यापन (verification) दोनों की फोटो डिज़ाइन से ही सार्वजनिक हैं — यही पारदर्शिता का आधार है जो शिकायत को असरदार बनाती है। इसका मतलब है कि अगर फोटो में कोई इंसान का चेहरा या गाड़ी की नंबर प्लेट आ जाए, तो वह भी सार्वजनिक हो जाएगा। कृपया लोगों की फोटो न लें — सिर्फ़ गंदगी/समस्या को फ़्रेम में रखें।

Both the original report photo and the citizen's after-photo (verification) are public by design — that's what makes the complaint's public pressure work. This means if a face or a vehicle number plate appears in the frame, it becomes public too. Please avoid photographing people — frame only the garbage/problem itself.

फोटो Cloudflare R2 पर स्टोर होती हैं और /api/photo/ तथा /api/thumb/ रूट से किसी को भी दिखाई जा सकती हैं, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे रिपोर्ट का पता और श्रेणी सबको दिखती है।

Photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 and are servable to anyone via the /api/photo/ and /api/thumb/ routes, exactly like the report's address and category are already public.

3. कौन-सा डेटा लिया जाता है / What we collect

गंदगी की फोटो व after-फोटो — जो आप रिपोर्ट या सत्यापन के समय खुद खींचकर भेजते हैं। (The report photo, and the after-photo if you verify a cleanup.)
GPS लोकेशन व पता — आपकी अनुमति से, ताकि सही अधिकारी को सही जगह पता चले और सत्यापन 75 मीटर के दायरे में जाँचा जा सके। (GPS location, with your permission — used to route to the right authority and to check verification proximity.)
Citizen ID — आपके फ़ोन पर अपने-आप बना एक गुमनाम, रैंडम ID (UUID)। यह कभी आपके फ़ोन नंबर से नहीं बनता और उससे जुड़ा नहीं होता; यह सिर्फ़ आपके पॉइंट्स, बैज और स्ट्रीक याद रखने के लिए है। ब्राउज़र/फ़ोन में "साइट डेटा साफ़ करें" (clear site data) करते ही यह ID मिट जाता है और अगली बार नया बनता है। (A random, anonymous UUID generated on your device — never derived from or linked to a phone number. Clearing your browser's site data for safaisathi.pages.dev deletes it.)
नाम व मोबाइल (वैकल्पिक) — सिर्फ़ तभी जब आप खुद भरें। (Name & mobile — only if you choose to fill them.)
IP का हैश — स्पैम रोकने के लिए (प्रतिदिन रिपोर्ट/सत्यापन-सीमा); असली IP सेव नहीं होता। (A one-way hash of your IP for spam/rate-limit control; the real IP is not stored.)

हम कोई ट्रैकिंग कुकी, विज्ञापन ID या एनालिटिक्स ट्रैकर इस्तेमाल नहीं करते।

4. डेटा का इस्तेमाल / How data is used

शिकायत दर्ज करने, सही अधिकारी तक रूट करने, और एस्केलेशन/सत्यापन ट्रैक करने के लिए
सार्वजनिक फ़ीड में दिखाने के लिए — फोटो, श्रेणी, पता, स्थिति, एस्केलेशन स्तर, और (अगर आपने दिया है) आपका नाम सबको दिखता है। मोबाइल नंबर कभी किसी सार्वजनिक API या पेज पर नहीं दिखता — सिर्फ़ scoped/national ऐप-एडमिन को दिखता है ताकि ज़रूरत पर संपर्क हो सके।
टीम/स्कूल लीडरबोर्ड — सिर्फ़ आपका दिया हुआ display name दिखता है, कुछ और नहीं। नाम नहीं दिया तो लीडरबोर्ड पर आपकी कोई पहचान नहीं दिखती। Team/school leaderboards show only the display name you choose to provide — nothing else, and nothing at all if you don't provide one.
आँकड़ों (कुल/सत्यापित/बिना-जवाब शिकायतें) और स्वच्छ स्कोर रैंकिंग के लिए
ओपन डेटा एक्सपोर्ट (/api/open/reports.csv) — यह पूरी तरह सार्वजनिक CSV है, लेकिन इसमें फ़ोन नंबर, citizen ID, या IP कभी शामिल नहीं होते — सिर्फ़ रिपोर्ट का सार्वजनिक विवरण (श्रेणी, स्थिति, जगह, तारीख़ें)। The open-data CSV excludes phone number, citizen ID, and IP — only already-public report fields are included.

4A. AI से फोटो का विश्लेषण और पत्र-ड्राफ़्ट / AI photo analysis and letter drafts

⚠️ आपकी रिपोर्ट की फोटो विश्लेषण के लिए Anthropic (Claude) के API को भेजी जाती है। वहाँ एक AI फोटो देखकर बताता है कि क्या यह कचरे की समस्या है, कितनी गंभीर है और कोई ख़तरा (जैसे खुले में जलाना) दिखता है या नहीं। यह नतीजा रिपोर्ट पर "फोटो से AI का आकलन" लिखकर दिखाया जाता है और ग़लत भी हो सकता है; इसी से अत्यधिक गंभीर रिपोर्टों को प्राथमिकता मिलती है। आपका नाम, मोबाइल नंबर, citizen ID और IP कभी Anthropic को नहीं भेजे जाते। अगर किसी कारण से API न चले तो रिपोर्ट बिना विश्लेषण के सामान्य रूप से दर्ज होती है।

The photo of your report is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis: an AI reports whether it shows a waste problem, how severe it looks, and any visible hazard (for example open burning). The result is shown on the report labelled "AI-assessed from photo" and can be wrong. Your name, mobile number, citizen ID and IP address are never sent to Anthropic. If the service is unavailable, the report is filed normally without the analysis. A report that the AI is confident is not a waste photo is only queued for human review; it is not hidden automatically.

"शिकायत / आरटीआई ड्राफ़्ट" बनाने के लिए सिर्फ़ रिपोर्ट के सार्वजनिक तथ्य (जगह, तारीख़, श्रेणी, फोटो-लिंक, AI का सार, और आपके लिखे नोट से फ़ोन नंबर/ईमेल/लिंक हटाकर) AI को दिए जाते हैं। AI सिर्फ़ भाषा लिखता है; कानूनी संदर्भ हमारी जाँची हुई सूची से आते हैं (/sources)। हम आपकी ओर से कोई पोर्टल पर शिकायत दर्ज नहीं करते — पंजीकरण संख्या आप खुद लिखें, तो वह रिपोर्ट पर सबको दिखती है (आपकी पहचान नहीं)।

To write a "complaint / RTI draft", only the report's public facts (place, date, category, photo link, the AI summary, and your note with phone numbers, emails and links removed) are given to the AI. The AI only writes the prose; the legal references come from our checked list (/sources). We do not file on any portal for you. If you record a registration number, it is shown publicly on the report, without your identity.

5. डेटा कहाँ रहता है / Where data lives

डेटा Cloudflare (Pages/D1) पर, और फोटो Cloudflare R2 पर सुरक्षित रहते हैं। फोटो का AI विश्लेषण Anthropic के API से होता है (ऊपर 4A देखें)। लोकेशन से पता निकालने के लिए reverse-geocoding सेवा और नक्शे के लिए OpenStreetMap टाइल्स इस्तेमाल होती हैं — इन्हें केवल coordinates भेजे जाते हैं, आपकी पहचान नहीं।

6. आपके अधिकार / Your rights

नाम/मोबाइल दिए बिना रिपोर्ट या सत्यापन कर सकते हैं — पूरी तरह गुमनाम।
अपना citizen ID कभी भी ब्राउज़र/फ़ोन की "साइट डेटा साफ़ करें" सेटिंग से मिटा सकते हैं — इससे आपके पुराने पॉइंट्स/बैज उस ID से अलग हो जाएँगे, अगली बार नया गुमनाम ID बनेगा।
अपनी कोई भी रिपोर्ट या फोटो हटवाने के लिए रिपोर्ट ID के साथ ईमेल करें: ayushsrivastava9997@gmail.com — हम 7 दिनों में हटा देंगे।
लोकेशन की अनुमति कभी भी ब्राउज़र/फ़ोन सेटिंग से बंद कर सकते हैं।

7. बच्चे / Children

यह ऐप सामान्य दर्शकों के लिए है। हम जानबूझकर बच्चों का व्यक्तिगत डेटा नहीं लेते; नाम-मोबाइल फ़ील्ड वैकल्पिक हैं।

8. बदलाव / Changes

पॉलिसी बदलने पर यह पेज अपडेट होगा और ऊपर तारीख़ बदल जाएगी।
